Sport Club Corinthians Paulista — dos anos 1940 ao fim da fila nos anos 1970 O Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (SCCP), comumente chamado de Corinthians, é um clube poliesportivo brasileiro da cidade de São Paulo. Foi fundado como uma equipe de futebol em 1º de setembro de 1910, por um grupo de trabalhadores na região da Ponte Grande, no bairro do Bom Retiro. Seu nome foi inspirado no Corinthian Football Club, de Londres, que excursionava pelo Brasil. Atualmente, o clube manda suas partidas na Neo Química Arena. Seus maiores rivais são Palmeiras, com quem disputa o Derby Paulista; Santos, no Clássico Alvinegro; e São Paulo, no Majestoso.
